Section 13(2) in The Cotton Ginning and Pressing Factories (Maharashtra Provision for Uniform Application and Amendment) Act, 1961
(2)Where the officer making an award under section 11 or 12 is a Collector under this Regulation but not a Collector appointed under section 8 of the Code, and the amount of the award exceeds five thousand rupees, the award shall not be made without the previous approval of-(a)The Collector appointed under section 8 of the Code, if the award does not exceed twenty-five thousand rupees, or(b)the Commissioner, if the award exceeds twenty-five thousand rupees.
