Being aggrieved by the order of the High Court declining to suspend the sentence and grant bail in exercise of power under Section 389 of the Cr.P.C. in Criminal Appeal Nos. 944/2012 and 964/2012, the petitioners have preferred these special leave petitions.

Having heard Ms. Bhati, learned counsel for the petitioners, we are not inclined to interfere with the order. However, having regard to the period of custody the petitioners have already undergone, the High Court is requested to dispose of the appeals as expeditiously as possible.

With the aforesaid observations, the special leave petitions are dismissed.
