Section 63(7)(a) in The Karnataka Value Added Tax Act, 2003

(a)The Appellate Tribunal may, in case of appeal against an order passed by the appellate authority under Section 62, , in its discretion, stay payment of one half of tax or any other amount disputed, if the appellant makes payment of the other half of the amount disputed.
