Section 5(1) in The West Bengal District Planning Committee Act, 1994
(1)Subject to such rules as may be made by the State Government in this behalf and such directions as that Government may issue for the purpose, the District Magistrate shall coordinate and supervise all work in connection with the election of members to the Committee.
