Section 50(1) in The Haryana Canal and Drainage Rules, 1976
(1)The remuneration of Lambardars or other persons collecting from cultivators, shall be three per cent of the amount collected on account of water rate on the condition that the full amount due has been paid for each estate by the date fixed by the Financial Commissioner and that the Lambardar has performed his duty connected with the assessment such as personal attendance or deputation of a proper substitute at the time of measurement and correct report of irrigation.
