The advance increments admissible to direct recruits to the Indian Forest Service will be regulated in accordance with Rule 7 of the Indian Forest Service (Pay) Rules, 1968.Note. - For the purpose of aforesaid Rule 7, the passing of prescribed Departmental Examination will be deemed to mean-(i)Passing of the Departmental Examination specified in Rule 10 completely by the higher standard.
