3. Appointment of Chief Commissioner (Sales) and other officers.
(1)The State Government shall, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint a Chief Commissioner (Sales), as many Commissioners (Sales), and Tehsildars (Sales) or Naib Tehsildars (Sales)/ Naib Tehsildars (Rehabilitation), as may be necessary for the purpose of performing the functions assigned to them by or under this Act.(2)The Chief Commissioner (Sales) shall have general superintendence and control over the Commissioners (Sales), Tehsildars (Sales) and Naib Tehsildars (Sales)/Naib Tehsildars (Rehabilitation) in the State and may issue necessary directions for carrying out the purposes of this Act.
