Section 3 in West Bengal Land Reforms and Tenancy Tribunal Act, 1997
3. Act to have overriding effect.
The provisions of this Act shall have effect notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained in any other law for the time being in force or in any custom or usage or in any contract, express or mplied.
