Section 1 in University Grants Commission (Categorization of Universities (only) for Grant of Graded Autonomy) Regulations, 2018
1. Short title, application and commencement.
(1)These regulations shall be called the University Grants Commission (Categorization of Universities (only) for Grant of Graded Autonomy) Regulations, 2018.(2)They shall apply to all universities established or incorporated by or under a Central Act, a Provincial Act, or a State Act and any Institution Deemed to be University under Section 3 of UGC Act, 1956.(3)They shall come into force from the date of their notification in the Official Gazette of India.
