(4)The [Dharmika Parished] [Substituted 'Commissioner' by Act No. 33 of 2007, dated 11.12.2007.], after consulting the mathadhipathi and other persons having interest, and after making such enquiry as may be prescribed may by order modify or cancel the scheme settled under sub-section (1).
