(1)The Joint Labour Commissioner (Headquarters) or the Regional Dy./Asstt. Labour Commissioner or Inspector on any authority under the Act shall have powers to call for any information for statistics in relation to migrant workmen from any contractor or principal employer at any time by an order in writing.(2)Any person called upon to furnish the information under sub-rule (1) shall be legally bound to do so.Chapter-VII Legal Aid to Workmen
