ORDER
Raja Vijayaraghavan V, J.
This petition has been filed seeking permission to install a table-top photocopier machine in the office of the Ombudsman.
From the submissions made by the learned counsel, it appears that the Ombudsman is required to take approximately 5,000 to 6,000 copies per month. We are of the view that the requirement can be sufficiently met by installing a multi-function laser printer designed for medium-duty office use, which would adequately serve the purpose.
Accordingly, the office of the Ombudsman is permitted to purchase a suitable multi-function laser printer, meeting the above specifications, by utilising funds available under establishment expenses. Two-thirds of the cost shall be borne by the Travancore Devaswom Board, and one-third by the Cochin Devaswom Board, which shall be reimbursed as and when the invoices are produced.
The Devaswom Board Petition is disposed of accordingly.
