Section 8(1) in Tamil Nadu Panchayats (Procedure for Conducting Public Auction of Leases and Sales in the Panchayats) Rules, 2001
(1)The Panchayat may set apart places in the lands owned by it or in the premises of its buildings or in the vested porambokes and lease out such places for erecting up advertisement boards or hoardings.
