Section 56 in Punjab Panchayat Samitis and Zila Parishads Act, 1961
56. Joint Works and undertakings.-
A Panchayat Samiti may contribute towards any work, measure, institution or service, from which the area under the jurisdiction of the Panchayat Samiti benefits although such work, institution or service is undertaken or maintained outside such area, such sums as may appear to the Panchayat Samiti reasonable having regard to the extent of benefits derived therefrom.
