Section 52(2) in Delhi Prisons (Transfer of Prisoner, Labour and Jail Industry, Food, Clothings and Sanitation) Rules, 1988
(2)No consideration of profit or convenience shall be permitted to influence the class or form of labour which any convict sentenced to undergo rigorous imprisonment is at any time required to perform and class and form of labour which every such convict is at any time required to perform shall be fixed with reference solely to the health of the convict and the regulations of the jail in regard to the employment of prisoners.
