260. Senior officer to countersign plans.
- When it is proposed to enlarge kachahris or other buildings for the accommodation of offices or courts other than those by which they are occupied, or to erect building near other public buildings, the senior officers of the department occupying the existing buildings should countersign the plans, in token that there is no objection on their part to the proposed arrangement. (Bengal Government Circular Order No. 48, dated the 24th June, 1896).
