372. Distribution of coins.
- One coin or more coins than one of the same variety acquired or purchased by Government shall, unless Government otherwise direct, be distributed to the following coin cabinets in the following order after distributing to such cabinets lists of duplicate coins that are available and ascertaining the requirements of each :-(1)The Patna Museum, Patna.(2)The National Museum of India, New Delhi.(3)The Indian Museum, Calcutta.(4)The Delhi Fort Museum (in respect of coins of the Pathan and Mughal periods).(5)The Madras Museum, Madras.(6)The Prince of Wales Museum, Bombay.(7)The State Museum, Lucknow.(8)The Hyderabad Museum, Hyderabad.(9)The Archaeological Museum, Gwalior.(10)Ajmer Museum, Ajmer.(11)The Bharat Kala Bhawan, Banaras.(12)The Nagpur Museum, Nagpur.(13)The Central Museum, Jaipur.(14)The Mysore Government Museum, Bangalore.(15)The Government Museum, Trivendrum.(16)The State Museum, Trichur.(17)The Provincial Museum, Gauhati.(18)The Provincial Museum, Cuttack.(19)Watson Museum, Rajkot.(20)The Deccan College Post-Graduate Research Institute, Poona.(21)The Asutosh Museum of Indian Art, Calcutta.
