FACTS
Vide RTI dt 20.8.11, appellant had sought photo copies of answer sheets of Physics (main and compartment), Mathematics and Informatics Practices.
2. PIO vide letter dt 13.9.11, informed appellant that answer sheets for the main exam have been disposed of as per the guidelines. Request for photo copy of the compartment exam, as per Supreme Court directions, would be complied with once modalities have been worked out.
3. An appeal was filed on 23.9.11.
4. Not satisfied with the response, he filed the present appeal.
5. PIO submitted that though the Hon'ble Supreme Court directions were issued in August 2011, the CBSE issued guidelines for implementing the Hon'ble Supreme Court directions only on 22.6.2012. In the case of the appellant, the concerned answer sheets were weeded out within two months as per existing CBSE guidelines.
DECISION In view of the above, the appeal is disposed of.
