4. Objects of the University.
- The objects of the University, among others, shall be make provision for the education mainly of the rural people of the State of Andhra Pradesh in agriculture and to promote research, field and extension programmes in agriculture and agricultural production [and to streamline the Agriculture Education, affiliate, recognize the College imparting Agricultural Sciences, Agricultural Engineering & Technology and Home Science Education.] [Added by Act No. 11 of 2017, dated 29.4.2017.]
