Section 2(1)(f) in The North Cachar Hills Autonomous Districts (Administration of Justice) Rules, 1955

(f)"District Council" means the District Council of the North Cachar Hills Autonomous District constituted under the provisions of the Sixth Schedule to the Constitution, and in accordance with the Assam Autonomous Districts (Constitution of District Councils) Rules, 1951;
