ORDER
Order No. 08.10.2024 01. 1. This matter is taken up through Hybrid
arrangement (video conferencing/physical mode).
2. Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner and learned counsel for the State.
3. The Petitioner has filed this Writ Petition with a prayer to direct the Opposite Parties to settle the land in his favour in accordance with the provisions of OGLS Act and Rules.
4. Learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that for the self-same issue, the Petitioner has made a representation to the Opposite Party No.5 on 10.05.2023 vide Annexure-3 and the same is still pending for consideration and necessary direction be issued for early disposal of the representation.
5. Learned counsel for the State has no serious objection to such prayer.
6. For the nature of relief sought for and for pendency of the representation at the instance of the Petitioner vide Annexure-3, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing the Opposite Party No.5 to consider the representation in accordance with law and dispose of the same within a period of three months from the date of production of certified copy of this order by the Petitioner and communicate the order to the Petitioner. This Court has not expressed any opinion on the merit of the representation.
