Information sought

:

The Appellant sought information through 9 points regarding rejection of his application for disability certificate.
Grounds for the Second Appeal:
The CPIO has not provided the desired information.
Relevant Facts emerging during Hearing: The following were present:-
Appellant: Present through VC.
1
Respondent: S.K. Verma, US & CPIO, Pradeep Kumar, DoPT, D. Das, US & CPIO, G. Biswas, ASO, DoPT, D.K. Panda, US & CPIO, DEPWD, Kripa Anna Ekka, US & CPIO, and Sunil Kumar, SO, UPSC present in person.
Appellant stated that he is aggrieved with the fact that despite being certified by Sassoon Hospital, Pune as per Bera Audiometry test that he has hearing loss in right ear, disability certificate is not being issued to him.
Decision Commission observes from the perusal of facts on record that the RTI Application is outside the purview of Section 2(f) of RTI Act as Appellant has sought for interpretation and deduction of the CPIO based on speculative and futuristic queries regarding non-issuance of disability certificate to him. Moreover, the RTI Application has been filed with multiple public authorities, while the instant matter has been listed for hearing against DoPT based on the reply available on record.
Commission finds no scope of intervention in the matter.
The appeal is dismissed.
