Section 27(1) in Tamil Nadu Private Universities Act, 2019
(1)The Academic Council shall be the principal academic body of a Private University and shall subject to the provisions of the statutes, the ordinances and the applicable regulations, co-ordinate and exercise general supervision over the academic policies of the Private University.
