Section 31(5) in The Maharashtra Animal and Fishery Sciences University Act, 1998
(5)Each Faculty shall consist of,-(i)Dean of the Faculty as ex-officio Chairman;(ii)Associate Deans of each constituent college of the concerned Faculty;(iii)Heads of Departments;(iv)One Professor other than the Head of the Department, to be elected by the Academic staff members of the Departments;(v)The Principal of recognised institutions in related Faculty;(vi)The Associate Professors and two Assistant Professors to be elected by the respective groups.
