Section 25(2)(vii) in Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (Registration of Corporate Agents) Regulations, 2015

(vii)No corporate agent or its telemarketer shall make outbound calls to any person unless he or she has shown interest in buying an insurance policy by making enquiries to that effect. They shall maintain the database of such persons and the enquiry made for verification and cheeking by the Authority or any person authorized by it.
