Section 17(11) in The First Statutes of Indian Institute of Technology Goa, 2017
(11)Where a post is to be filled by promotion from amongst the members of staff of the Institute or when to be filled temporarily for a period not exceeding twelve months, the Board shall lay down the procedure to be followed.
