Section 183(i) in The Tamil Nadu Building and other Construction Workers (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Rules, 2006
(i)tongs, clamps and other appliances for lifting structural steel and pre-fabricated parts are,-(i)in such shape and dimensioned as to ensure a secure grip without damaging such parts; and(ii)marked with the maximum permissible load in the most unfavourable lifting conditions;
