(3)Any person who buries or otherwise disposes of any corpse in any such place, after the date specified in the said notification for closure of the same, shall, on conviction, be punished with fine which may extend to [two thousand and five hundred rupees] [These words were substituted for the words 'two hundred and fifty rupees' by Maharashtra 1 of 2011, Section 33, (w.e.f. 14-1-2011).].
