Section 4(1) in The Rajasthan Dacoity Affected Areas Act, 1986
(1)A person, who assists the police in giving information or is engaged in assisting the police by giving information relating to the commission of a scheduled offence or is assisting in the investigation of such offence, shall, for the purposes of this Act, be deemed to be public servant within the meaning of section 21 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (Central Act XLV of 1860).
