Section 5 in The Orissa Municipal Corporation Rules, 2004
5. Standing Committee for Public Works.
- The Standing Committee for Public Works shall have the powers to recommend to the Mayor measures to be taken with regard to the matters relating to buildings, roads and bridges, pathways, drains and sewerage, general improvement works keeping in view the need of the city vis-a-vis the availability of funds of the Corporation without encroaching Government grants and loans.
