Section 4(2) in The Vidarbha Irrigation Development Corporation Act, 1997

(2)The term of office of nominated members shall be for a period of one year unless terminated earlier by the State Government.Provided that the members of the Maharashtra State Legislature shall cease to be the member of the Corporation if they cease to be members of the Maharashtra State Legislature.
