Section 1 in Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Act, 1964
1. Short title and commencement.
(1)This Act may be called the Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Act, 1964.(2)Chapters I, II, III and VI of this Act shall come into force at once, and Chapter IV and Chapter V of this Act shall respectively come into force on such [dates] [Chapter 4 came into force w.e.f. 1.12.1964 and Chapter 5 w.e.f. 2.12.1964.] as the State Government may by notification in the official Gazette, appoint.
