Section 272(1)(c) in The West Bengal Motor Vehicles Rules, 1989

(c)has, affixed to the generator in such a manner as to be clearly visible, a metal plate having legibly displayed upon it the name of the manufacturer. the description, name, mark or number assigned to it by the State Transport Authority under sub-rule (1) of rule 274 of these rules and the manufacturer's serial number.
