(1)This Act may be called the [Karnataka] [Adapted by the Karnataka Adaptations of Laws Order, 1973 w.e.f. 01.11.1973.] Housing Board Act, 1962.(2)It extends to the whole of the [State of Karnataka] [Adapted by the Karnataka Adaptations of Laws Order, 1973 w.e.f. 01.11.1973.](3)It shall come into force on such [date] [The Act has come into force by notification w.e.f. 27.1.1965. Text of the notification is at the end of the Act.] as the State Government may, by notification, appoint.
