Section 13 in The Chhattisgarh Non-Government Colleges and Institutions in Higher Education (Establishment and Regulation) Act, 2006
13. No permission for up gradation.
- No permission shall be granted for the establishment of an educational institution by way of up-gradation of a higher secondary school into degree college; however, with the prior approval of the Commissioner of Higher Education, it can he permitted to be established within the premises of an existing institution provided the educational agency is prepared to provide the prescribed requirements like accommodation, furniture, library, laboratory and other facilities exclusively for the proposed class or category of institution.
