(22)Teacher" means [a Principal, Professor, Associate Professor, Reader, Assistant Professor,] [Words substituted for the words 'a Professor, Reader, Principal, lecturer,' by W.B. Act 12 of 2011.] or any other person, holding a whole time teaching post, appointed or recognized by the University or appointed by an affiliated college or institution;
