Section 11(4) in Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences Act, 1984

(4)The Standing Committee shall consist exclusively of members of the Board, but ad hoc committee may include persons who are not members of the Board. But the number of such persons shall not exceed one half of its total membership.
