Section 362(1) in The Orissa Municipal Corporation Act, 2003
(1)Where water is supplied by measurement, the Commissioner may either provide a meter and charge the consumer for the same such rent as may, from time to time, be fixed in this behalf by the Standing Committee or may permit the consumer to provide a meter of his own of such size, material and description as the Commissioner may approve for this purpose.
