Section 8(2)(d) in UGC Regulations on Curbing The Menace of Ragging in Higher Educational Institutions, 2009

(d)Any incident of ragging in an institution shall adversely affect its accreditation, ranking or grading by NACC or by any other authorised accreditation agencies while assessing the institution for accreditation, ranking or grading purposes.
