1. Short title, extent and commencement
(1)This Act may be called The National Commission for Minority Educational Institutions Act , 2004.(2)It extends to the whole of India [*] [The words '<SPAN class=amd2><A TITLE =]' omitted by Act 34 of 2019, s. 95 and the Fifth Schedule (w.e.f. 31-10-2019)">[*].(3)It shall be deemed to have come into force on the 11th day of November, 2004.
