Section 25(1) in National Institute of Design Act, 2014
(1)[Every Institute] [Substituted 'The Institute' by Act No. 38 of 2019, dated 29.11.2019.] shall maintain proper accounts and other relevant records and prepare an annual statement of accounts, including the balance sheet, in such form as may be prescribed, in accordance with such general directions as may be issued by the Central Government in consultation with the Comptroller and Auditor-General of India.
