Section 2A(1) in The Consumer Protection Rules, 1987
(1)For the purpose of obtaining recognition as an appropriate laboratory, the applicant shall send application, in triplicate, in the pro forma prescribed by the Bureau of Indian Standards with the relevant details to the Department concerned with the consumer protection work in the State Government.
