Section 2(h) in The East Punjab Holdings (Consolidation and Prevention of Fragmentation) Act, 1948
(h)'Settlement Officer (Consolidation)' means an officer appointed as such under section 20 by the [State] [Adaptation of Laws Order 1950.] Government and includes any person authorised by the [State] [Adaptation of Laws Order 1950.] Government to perform all or any of the functions of the Settlement Officer (Consolidation) under this Act ;
