Section 14(1) in The Delhi Metro Railway (Procedure to be followed by the Claims Commissioner and amount of compensation payable in case of death and injuries due to accidents) Rules, 2007
(1)The Claims Commissioner, after hearing the applicant and the Metro Railway Administration, shall pass an order as he thinks fit either at once or, as soon as thereafter as may be practicable.
