Section 86(8) in The Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Model Rules, 2016
(8)When an FIR is registered for offense against a child, a copy of the FIR shall be handed over to the complainant or child victim and subsequent to the completion of investigation, copy of report of investigation and other relevant documents shall be handed over to the complainant or any person authorised to act on his behalf.
