Section 2(g) in Madhya Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission (Demand Side Management) Regulations, 2016
(g)"DSM Resource Acquisition" means a mechanism to implement DSM projects through customers, Energy Service Companies, Non- Government Organizations, manufacturers/ suppliers, or other private sector organizations, with payment made to them by the Distribution Licensee for the resultant energy and load reductions;
