Section 215(a) in Police Regulations, Bengal , 1943
(a)In order to enable the police of one district to gain a personal knowledge of the bad characters of the bordering stations of another district, the Superintendent shall depute a constable for a period of not more than six or less than three months from each of his border police-stations to the border police-station of the adjoining district, in exchange for a constable of that police-station.
