Section 57 in The Wild Life (Protection) (Madhya Pradesh) Rules, 1974

57. Repeal and saving.

- As from the commencement of these rules, the Madhya Pradesh Game Rules, 1962, Madhya Pradesh Forests (Hunting, Shooting, Fishing, Poisoning Water and Setting Traps or Snares, in Reserved and Protected Forests) Rules, 1963 and every other rules relating to the matter contained in these rules, shall stand repealed :Provided that such repeal shall not :-
(i)affect the previous operation of the rules so repealed or anything duly done or suffered thereunder;
(ii)affect any right privilege, obligation or any liability acquired, accrued or incurred under the rules so repealed;
(iii)affect any investigation, legal proceeding, or remedy in respect of any such right privilege, obligation or liability :
Provided further that subject to the preceding proviso, anything done or any action taken under the rules so repealed, shall in so far as it is not inconsistent with the provisions of these rules be deemed to have been done or taken under the corresponding provisions of these rules and shall continue in force accordingly, until it is superseded by anything done or any action taken under these rules.Form No. 1[See Rule 11 (1)]Form of Application For Special Game/big Game/small Game Hunting Licence.ToThe Chief Wild Lite Warden/Authorised Officer,Madhya Pradesh.Sir.I, ........ resident of.............. in the District ............
