Ranjeet Kumar Singh, raised an industrial dispute regarding the termination of his services by the management of M/s Airforce Senior Secondary School. The appropriate Government on being satisfied regarding the existence of industrial dispute between the parties, made a reference for adjudication. The said reference is as under :
"Whether the services of Shri Ranjeet Kumar Singh S/o Sh.Ramkewal have been terminated illegally and/or unjustifiably by the I.D.No. 144/14 Page 1 out of 2 management, and if so, to what relief is he entitled and what directions are necessary in this respect?"
Thereafter, the notice was issued to the workman. The workman did not appear in the court despite service nor any statement of claim was filed on his behalf on the dates of hearing fixed in this regard in the instant reference, on record.
In view of the circumstances as discussed above, as the workman did not file statement of claim, it is apparent that he is not interested in pursuing his case. Hence the case was fixed for passing of Award vide order dated 22.11.2014.
In view of the above discussion, as the workman has not pursued his case, it is apparent that the workman is not entitled to any relief in the same.
The reference is answered accordingly and the award is passed. Ahlmad is directed to send six copies of this Award to the appropriate Government. The file be consigned to the record room.
