Section 49(1) in Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan Rajasthan Ayurved University, Jodhpur Act, 2002
(1)The Chancellor may, on the recommendation of the Academic Council and the Board of Management supported by a majority of not less than two-thirds of the members of each body present at its meeting, such majority comprising not less than one-half of the members of each body, withdraw from any person a diploma or degree if he has been convicted by a court of law of any offence which in the opinion of the Academic Council and the Board of Management, is a serious offence involving moral turpitude.
